This blog is a gallery of my photography. I have been learning a few new tools and skills in Photoshop and I am pleased with the work that I have been able to accomplish thus far. Digital photography has truly been so much fun for me. I enjoy trying to see the world a little different and seeing how I can capture it with my own style.
The world is a kaleidascope of images and I try to photograph the ones I want to keep.

Life Lesson #283: If you get pulled over by the Po-Po, "Sir, Please remain in your vehicle."
Conceptually, overall I created Life Lessons to tie all of the photos together and provide a basis for a book that can grow into more books. In my beyond realism work I create whimsy in a lot of my photos. I try to create photos that grab the viewers attention to draw them in and then give them room to explore. My goal is to make people smile or reflect upon life in general when they view my assemblage of photos.
I use my digital camera, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to produce my work. Sometimes there is barely anything that needs to be done to a photo besides sharpening. For my beyond realism work I spend almost all of my time in Photoshop completing my alternate worlds. I believe the next step in my work will be experimenting with my scanner to import old photos, different objects, shapes and textures into my
photographic worlds.
